Here are a few of the site’s policies. There may be more at some point, as I’ll likely have to quantify and justify everything I do on this site as politics, bad user behavior and general silliness engulfs and eventually destroys the internet.

At some point I may use Google Analytics, primarily so I can see what browsers my visitors are using, and to know many views the site is getting. Google drops a cookie for that. I can’t promise Google won’t take that information and do whatever they want with it. It’s Google, you know? I may also need another cookie if I have something like, say, a light / dark mode toggle that would drop a cookie to record the user’s preferences between sessions. Stuff like that. AI Policy

Here’s the thing: There really isn’t much out there in the way of a proper A.I. policy statement, but there should be. I asked Bing’s A.I. to write one for me, but it just used the text I put in the prompt. I’ll keep working on that, as we all will, to figure this whole thing out as best we can. The following is what the AI cranked out:

I will specify when I have used AI to generate complete content, either artwork or text. I may use AI to help generate initial ideas for art and text copy. I will ensure that the use of AI is transparent and that the resulting content is clearly labeled as such. I will also ensure that the use of AI does not infringe on any intellectual property rights or other legal rights.
