Resumé
It’s not always easy to write out a regular resumé when the last few years has been a chaos of freelancing, but below I think you’ll find something at least useful for determining whether or not I’d make a good fit for your company. If you have any questions about my experiences or skillset, please feel free to contact me. I’m happy to have a conversation :)

- Maintained and managed their WordPress based blog.
- Developed several small web applications and forms for researchers.
- Other responsibilities included: Mass email generation and deployment, editing and posting video on their YouTube channel, ad management and placement.
FedEx Office
Production Manager
1994 – 2011
I started here when it was still Kinko’s. It was a good job.
- Designed and consulted on the creation of many office documents, logos, and presentations for a multitude of clients, using an array of industry standard software.
- Created oversize banners, cut vinyl graphics, and other large format signs.
- Maintained printer and file servers for multiple production machines, as well as servers and hardware routers for customer web access.
- Responsible for work-flow management, onsite and outsourced.
Strengths
Versatile: I like to know at least a little about a lot of things.
Adaptable: Since I’ve worked with dozens of companies over the years, using hundreds of platforms, systems and applications, I can easily slot into most situations.
Curious: I love learning, particularly new technologies. There’s so much new, cool stuff coming out every day. I kinda want to live forever so I don’t miss out on what’s next.
Weaknesses
I can be the “um, actually” guy. When I hear an inaccurate statement, I instinctively want to point it out. It’s really annoying for everyone involved so I’m actively trying to do it less often.
I’m terrible at invoicing. I’m good at tracking expenses and creating invoices… but sending them kinda weirds me out. I’m sure there’s a name for that kind of anxiety.
I will tweak a project forever if allowed. I like to have a solid due date so I can put that project to bed and move on. I also like knowing when everyone needs everything so I can allocate and budget my time.
Additional Skills
Knowledge of Windows management, security and troubleshooting is pretty high.
The same goes for Linux (usually Debian), but a little less extensive than Windows.
Working knowledge of roughly every office suite in the last 15 years on Windows, Linux and Android.
I’m a pretty decent video editor in a pinch.
Not a bad writer, although I’m not sure I enjoy the process (generally).
Fair prompt engineer (or whatever they’re calling it this week).
Hobbies
I spend far too long “perfecting” my Obsidian vault… because it is my best friend.
I like refurbishing old and busted laptops and random computer equipment.
I watch a lot of documentaries about music, TV and film, although I don’t retain a lot of the information (there’s too much).
I like watching other people play video games, because if I play them myself my day evaporates before I know it.
